What Is A IRS W2 Form?
Internal Revenue Service requests form W-2 from the business taxpayers to keep track of company payroll taxes, and verify income tax returns of the employees. This form should be filed on a regular basis, usually at the beginning of the year following the reported tax year. The W-2 is an individual return containing information about income, noncash payments, Medicare and social security taxes withheld from the salary of each employee.
